The Story Behind Our Bolivia Beans
🌱 This coffee comes to us from La Cooperativa Corpus Cristhy Illampu R.L. in Caranavi, La Paz, Bolivia. Founded in 2001, the cooperative includes around 40 contributing farms spanning 120 hectares.
The coffee is mountain-grown in a climate with average temperatures of 17–22 °C and annual rainfall of 1,000–2,000 ml.
The cooperative’s goals are to improve and expand coffee plots through ecological and organic cultivation, implement benefit programs based on the needs of the cooperative, and promote finished coffee in both national and international markets.
