The Story Behind the Beans



Our Decaf Mexican coffee is grown in the Chiapas region, a mountainous area in southern Mexico. Chiapas is responsible for producing 60% of Mexico’s coffee and is also known for cacao exports. The rugged terrain and ideal climate create exceptional conditions for coffee cultivation.

Most of this Organic, Fairtrade coffee is grown on small family farms in one of the poorest regions of the country. Farmers cultivate their crops at over 4,000 feet in the same mountain range as Guatemala’s Huehuetenango region, renowned for producing some of the best coffee in the world.

Decaffeination is done through the Mountain Water Process, a clean method that uses pure glacier water to remove caffeine without harsh chemicals. This process preserves the rich flavors that make Decaf Mexico a beloved choice.
